Shadowgirls

first of let me start by saying great comic, one of the few which is of today gonna fellow.

i have a few guesses about what about to happen that i gonna post here just in case they will happen i can say i told you so.

1- the purple one (the huge fish monster that seems to be nicer then the rest)- gonna switch sides and save the girls butt at some point, he seems to be smarter and more honorable then the rest of his kind, and the what of you done thing he says in the last comic to the hydra queen also assures that he his judgmental of her actions.

2- the hacker guy will show his face with a deus-ex mechina somthing (be it the proof needed to clear Charon name or something more mystical) only to get killed before he can use it.

3- the MD brainwash will reveal to have been successful at a later point.

again im just posting my thoughts of what might happen.

1. I'm thinking Deep One Prime (aka Big Purple) will more likely defy her by stopping more progenitors or offspring from getting killed for her. Then again, maybe he'll just gain the upper-hand for MothaH at some point and be holding the shadowchild on her way to be sacrificed, then decide to release her... at night!

2. I'm doubtful Fides' will die. We'd loose the Innsmouth Insider and there's way too much more for her to do in future seasons or even other comics.

3. Yeah, I'm thinking the MD ain't gonna be quite right in the head.

*shrug* in all of this who knows what the DRs are doing after that last sequence. Heck, all I guessed was a can of yellow spray-paint.

You all are overlooking one major key player here...

Snowball the M.E.'s cat.

Is that the cat's official name?
'cos I would imagine it'd be a very evil kitty with a name like that.

Not as evil as a cat named H****

Knew there's somethin' about the cat....Now the questions is "do we go good or evil" on the kitty. I love cats...but somethin' about the way the cat acted has me sayin' evil............though now that I think of it, it could be neutral and the ME could be something similar to Starkweather. *ponders*

Well the cat didn't save it's owner to begin with but I keep reading about how cats are special in Lovecraft, have their own cult dedicated to Bast and everything so *shrug*

H**** is their leader. He has to be, I bet he could take on a deepone!

I'mma throw my guesses out there, even though we're a bit further in the comic.

1.) BP will somehow be saved from death, and possibly tries to protect his fellow species, and not the mother.

2.) The Fides will not die, just in the sight that she seems to be a character capable of giving the good "background" on the old ones etc. She's a good "good" character for that kind of background to keep the readers and the "good" side aware of what's going on.

3.) Poor Lin Lin, in all of her 16 years or experience probably didn't know how to shoot a gun accurately and probably missed the scientist guy. My gut tells me he's going to be around, or maybe his clone or something around the corner. Not the coroner.

4.) The M.E. will probably snap into his drone weird stage stuff. Maybe Lin Lin takes him to Fides and they deprogram him? That would just be the happy ending.

I'm hoping a cat scratches a bad guy's eyeball out.
