Thanks, Tink. I'll send it soon.

For right now, just very very very tired. <snore>

Umm... don't invest much in "infant" clothes. They outgrow them way too fast. Take lots of pictures, they're great blackmail material when the kids are older. ;) Enjoy them, but be the parent, not their friend. You'll have plenty of time for friendship once they're grown and yes, I've done my best to follow this and so far it's working. My son is 15 and I get a lot less crap from him than his friend's parents get from their kids. He talks to me about everything and nothing is taboo. Good luck and feel free to ask any questions if you need to.

MY bit of advise, such as it is, is if you don't mind used things, let people know you don't mind used things. Because they grow out of things so quickly, you can get a ton of quality stuff that looks like new or (if you've got people like my mother-in-law) still new that the baby never got too. I swear I passed down at least 2 shirts with the tags still on them.

You're getting so much good advice, especially about the baby clothes ... no, the parenting ... well, it's all really good. And as a father of 5, advise listening to all of it. Especially take advantage of 2nd hand clothes while they're babies. It has two pluses - baby clothes add up fast, and they haven't been culturally indoctrinated to believe everything has to be new and expensive (you can prevent that from happening, thank God).

Oh, and if you can hold off until the 18th, that's my fathers birthday and my In-Law's wedding anniversary. ;)

Congrats! Sounds like you might have a Scorpio or a Leo? So, what do you have for names? Huh huh huh? :D

My housekeeper (at work) is preggo too. Her ultra sound made the baby look like a demon, so she's naming him Daemion :D

I'm due October 8, and unless the cutoff is between then and the 11th, the baby should be a Libra, like my sister.

So far, my favorite names are:
Clara
Rose
Adella
Jaxon
Alexander
Keegan

Sleepies are finally starting to fade a bit, and I've never had a lot of morning sickness, so I've been lucky so far. Hopefully, next week, we'll get to hear a heartbeat! :)

Whee!! My son's birthday is October 3rd. Yay for October babies!! If I'd had a girl it would have been Felicia Lynn, but I got boy parts (That's a direct quote from my sonogram tech, btw) so we went with Rey Mitchell.

Choosing names if one of the really fun parts! Good luck deciding. :D

heh, my mother's name is Lynn with the double 'N'.

I think our current girl name (for when me and the Mrs. have kids one day) is Eva.

Considering I'm Charles the 5th, a boy's name wasn't really a worry *lol*. To begin with I wasn't that fussed about continuing the legacy/trend but then I discovered the family history behind the name and we decided to go with it.

So Charles, mind if I ask what the family history behind the name is?

My first pictures of my baby!

I know that to most people, sonograms look like white smudges on a black background, so don't feel obligated to recognize it for a baby. I just had to show off!

Yeah, I'm already a proud Momma! :D
