Congrats!! Boys are fun. I'm a little biased, but I'm glad I had a boy. I don't know what I'd do if I had to deal with all the girly stuffs. :P Have you narrowed down names yet?

As for names, my husband won't let me make a permanent decision, but I really like Miles. :)

Let me guess... You really do want to call him Charlie *LOL*

A lot of people actually give their baby a 'baby name' like Bubsy, Buster, Chief or some other such cute nonsense name. Then they decide on a final name later on which is revealed at the christening. That way you sort of get an opportunity to know the child and pick a name that somehow suits.
Always spread Vegimite behind your ears to prevent attack by drop bears.

Hey, guys. Just thought I'd show you an updated picture of the little guy. We had the 3D ultrasound done, and it's kinda amazing how clear the pictures are. I can't believe the pictures are this detailed . . .

We've officially decided his name is Miles, and he's growing quickly! I can't wait for October to get here. Babies take a long time to cook . . .

Yays for October babies! I'm kinda biased since my son's birthday is 10/3.

So... where are those poochie belly pics you promised me? :P

Miles is an adorable name, though. I went for a little less commonly heard name with my son, too. His first name is a family name and means nothing to anyone other than us, but I chose Mitchell as his middle name. It's been an amazing time and your little one's first pictures are adorable. :) Enjoy.

That could work out. For a while, he could be convinced that his birthday present is all the candy he "scares" up from the neighborhood. But that would be mean.

I think by the time October gets here, I'm really not going to want to wait another 3 weeks past my due date, for Halloween. :(

Besides, I have been commanded by the Queen at our Festival that Miles is to be born on her birthday, Oct. 5. The Queen has spoken, so I guess I have to shoot for that day. :)

Geez, all we want is for you to hold in the baby for three weeks until All Hallow's Eve because we (the people on the Internet you talk to sometimes) think it would be funny! Is it really too much to ask?!

Miles was born on September 30 at 1:34 am. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 0.6 oz and was 19.5 inches long. He is beautiful and healthy and surprisingly well behaved. I will post pictures in a day or two, but for now, I'm going to go cuddle my son some more. :)
