Announcement!

Hey, guys,

I just wrote in the Communications thread, too, but I thought I'd put it here, so you know it's real.

I just found out I'm pregnant!!! I'm about 5 weeks along, due October 8. My husband and I are super-excited, and I've been busy telling everyone I know! :)

Anyway, just had to share! :)

Wahey! Crack out those cee-gars (if that's your bag, at least, and certainly not for one half of the happy couple anyways)! A most hearty congratulations are in order to you both :)

Thank you all for your well-wishes! It means a lot to me (and not just because I'm all emotional due to hormones ).

Hee! For some reason your due date didn't register with me last night, but now... My son's b'day is October 3rd. Yay for October babies!

Indeed. Though, it seems these days as though everyone has an October birthday. My sister's birthday is the 11th, and my father-in-law's is the 10th. As I tell people, I'm amazed at how many say things like, "Oh, that's just (x) days before (name)". Even my doctor said that! :)

So, I may regret this later, but what advice do you guys have for an expectant mom?

My Mom does- make sure all the clothes you buy can be taken off quickly and easily in case of emergency diaper change. I guess I had some pretty cute outfits when I was that age...

Oh, and if you like, PM me with your address- I've got some baby yarn, and I'd like to make something for you! :D

I see I am not the only one who does that.
