I'd say Superman, but that's too damn easy. I'll make it simpler and just say Captain America. Peak physical condition, and an indestructable shield I can smack commies in the head with. :)

Keep rollin' rollin' rollin'...

Well, I could get into what superpower I'd want, but that's not really what the question is, is it?

So, to keep in line, I'll say that I'm torn. Part of me would love to be Batman (DUH). The gadgets, the smarts, martial arts expertise (he's pretty much a ninja), the fear-inducing presence, and the fact that it doesn't matter if the suit he's wearing has pointy ears or is Armani and the chicks will still swarm him doesn't hurt either.

YET...there's a part of me that would like to Spider-Man. For some reason, I've always love the idea of web-swinging just as much as the idea of flying like the aforementioned yellow-sun-power Kryptonian.

So for better or worse, that's me. NEXT!!

There's just some days I'd like to cut loose and be an utterly good-hearted-yet-insane tank - on those days, I'd definitely wanna be the Tick. :D Otherwise, however, I'd prefer something a bit subtler - the powers (but retaining my gender) of the Invisible Woman. Invisibility plus force shields? Where do I sign up! ;)

Jericho from the mid-80s Teen Titans. Not just because he could control anybody, but because he could hear them think too.

Or maybe Kirk DePaul era Manhunter, mainly because being a super-lawyer is just COOL!

Um... The Phoenix. I mean, why not be a demi god? Besides, she's human, rather than alien, so she could totally hook up with Batman one day. <3 If not Dr Jean Grey, I'll go for Zatanna. Hot, magic, sorceress and plays with all the right people. Also, writes spells in blood? How hardcore is that?

This is a tough one, as a lot of heroes have cool powers I wouldn't mind having, but I wouldn't want to BE those heroes. Jericho for example has a pretty sweet power, but that outfit was awful! (Plus I love my vocal cords).... All in all I'll pick a crazy one, literally. I'd have to go with Deadpool; who doesn't wanna be a crazy regenerating wise-cracking hero/villain? He's like a crazy cross between Spider-man, Wolverine, and a fun lunatic! So not only can you recover fast from being shot/stabbed, you can joke about it, AND if you feel like it you can be a super-villain or a super-hero.

I posed this question, and yet I don't have a great answer for it. Part of me wants to go with Spiderman, but I think all of that flying around would make me nauseous. I'm not a fan of Superman (too powerful) or Batman (not really a superhero - just a guy with lots of gadgets), so those are out. Jean Grey is a tempting choice - the telekinetic powers are awesome, and the Whedon fan in me wants to lean toward Buffy Summers, but I'm not down with all of the killing - even if you only kill evil things.

So, I guess I'll have to go with Dr. Xavier from the X-Men. He's a damned powerful mutant who has made it his life's mission to educate those whom society would like to forget about or eradicate. Plus, he gets props for being played by Patrick Stewart in the movies. :)

This question is too much fun, but I think it may be running out of steam, so:

Which super-Villain would you like to be?

Barack Obama! *rimshot*

But seriously, I wouldn't want to BE him, but Dr. Light a la Identity Crisis is currently my vote for meanest super-villain EVER.

Also, I want to change my vote from Jericho to Superman, because according to DR, he cock-punches ninjas into submission.

Gits and Shiggles - The ability to know everything in the Marvel Universe is called Cosmic Awareness. Deadpool has, according to Marvel, Comic Awareness, he knows he's just a comic book character. Also, he to is/was mute so pppbbbbttt!

I always liked the Joker, in particular Mark Hamill's interpretation in Batman The Animated Series. But instead of turning my homicidal tendancies on innocent folk, I'd target crappy comedians and comedy writers.

Look out, Comedy Central.

from what I understand, the current big marvvel vs dc arguments say that Thanos could beat up Darkseid. :) (and vice versa of course)

as far as myself? hmm.. if i could be any supervillain, i'd have to be Deathstroke the terminator... i don't read many comics, but you have to admit that Slade was a bad assed idea.

Thanos would be defeated by Darkseid. Not because he's weaker, but because he would orchestrate his own defeat. Every time he loses, it's because he plans for it. He plans his own defeats, mainly due to his feelings of inadequacy involving his obsession with Death. Darkseid does not have these. Now, one thing that needs to be remembered though is that Darkseid and Thanos is not the "let's duke it out" sorta guys. They're the scheming types. And whoever would win would depend solely on who had the better scheme... But knowing Thanos, he'd still plan his own downfall. If THanos would overcome this issue, then Darkseid would have some problems.

I'd have to go with the ScareBeast.

Which malevolent/indifferent deity would you like to have the powers of?(real or fictitious)
Cosmicism is an idea that the universe is far too large and complex to adhere to scientific or rational modes of thought and that humanity-indeed the Earth itself-is insignificant in the grand scale of things.

Loki - I mean really how much fun would that be? Sure you're going to die in Ragnarok, but so is everyone else.

Actually Thanos won. Darksied managed to come back, eventually, but he definitely lost the battle.
