Release Date

Postby Ebon1313 on Tue Jan 08, 2008 9:55 am

Well, that's as firm of a release date as I can give you right now (that being Spring 08). We want to put out something of quality. We want to put out something of value to everyone. Accomplishing both of those requires a large amount of time and effort. And you wouldn't believe how difficult D Rod is to work with... :D
The plan is to release a "teaser" or two before the official release. The release dates on those are not concrete yet either, but I want to get something out there soon to get everyone turned on. Stay tuned for more developments...

D-Rod difficult? No, surely you must be mistaken... Not trying to rush anyone, just patience isn't always on my top 10 list of virtues.

Thanks Le...E

Yeah... you guys and your teasers! Erm... by spring... what month exactly? Cause I think March is spring... and some people tell me it's April.

Considering there aer only like 7 or 8 virtues, not making the top 10 is really sad....

Mine don't even make the top 20. I think it rates just below conservation and just above chastity. :P

Thank you D-Rey. Even if you did hide from me at DA! There can be many things considered virtuous. I simply lack in the patience dept. :)

Yeah see that's what I meant...spring could mean March or May. Needless to say I'd prefer the former.

Could be worse. For Australia it means September - November *lol*

Any Idea about the teasers? how about templates for shadow-warrior and shadow-adept roles? (as long as it doesn't take a whole conviction point to shadowform)

edit: I wonder if your virtue and vice will change temporarily when you shadowform

See now, you're drifting into the New WoD, and they are about as far from Open Gaming as you can get. BUUUUUUUUT...

You're Vice would most likely inform on your form. Wrath becomes the great monster, Pride becomes the vidictive mage....

Actually, when we get into this stuff... I can't answer a single damn thing, as I've never really had much RPG experience. I always liked looking at the pretty pictures and stuff, but never understood the gameplay mechanics.

Fortunately, the other people involved have much more experience than me. :)

Bring caffine... LOTS of caffine.

Yeah, I can remember one group I was in back at high-school. When school finished I got a couple of speaker phones, hooked them up next to each other and called the GM and two other blokes (since we lived in different towns).

Thats how much you can seriously enjoy this stuff when you get into it a bit more. Once you know one game's mechanics it's pretty easy to learn any games as they're all related to a pretty good degree (even D6 to D20).

Dan Strait brother!

I fail out of University my freshman year. I had a 1.8 GPA, 25.5 Quarter Units, but I was playing 40+ hours of D&D, logging 6-8 hours a day on the internet. I also had a live in gamer girl friend who slept in my dorm room with me.

It was worth the $5K.

Nothing quite beats a live in gamer girlfriend.

At any rate...i just wanted to pop in here and say hello! I'll be doing some supplemental writing for Mythmakers, and I can assure you all that, while waiting for spring may suck for the impatient, it will CERTAINLY be a top-notch series of gaming goodness!
