Well it appears Lin-Lin the Destroyer is about to claim her first undead kill. Note what appears to be a wooden chair in her hands and the murderous look on her face.

Poor Scarlip, we hardly knew ye!

It's not a wooden chair. Check the previous page, top panel.

It's metal folding chair.

Meh I don't think it matters at this point. Lin-Lin is gonna stake him one way or the other, regardless of if it actually works. In truth, I'm sure she'll summon the physical manifestation of her boiling rage to kill him with.

I find it funny to note that the Destroyer's fan base is growing, I smell spin-off potential!

Really? 'cos I just about smell her dying. She was a throw-away character after all so probably no back story. Just another red-shirt *lol* oh but I kid ...Well, I hope I kid.

Metal Chair hu? Damn, you can get wooden folding ones and it did look metal, I'll admit, but I was holding out that it was wood, despite that, considering what she's up against.

Can you kill Nosferatu Vampires with brain damage? It's the only wound thats smoking, so maybe if she plants a chair through there then he'll be a gonner. Then again, he's a pretty impressive fellow so it's probably more likely that he'll run/get away for some reason so he can return.

I call, "Get beaned by the metal chair, and dust and smoke back to whatever hole he crawled out of."
"Why do I feel like there ought to be a "Mwuaaa-hahahahaha!" after that?"

Actually when I first read the page last night. I saw the chair, though "is that wooden? hmm?" went back to previous pages and was like "nah just a metal wrestling chair".

@ Charles, if the vampires are close to be correct in dnd. You can damage them with standard damage and when they are 'destroyed' they turn to their mist form and return to their coffin where they then start to regenerate. Submerging them in running water destroys them in three turns from memory. Sunlight burns them. If a wooden stake is being used as a weapon against them, you can deal a critical hit (normally you cant critically hit undead) and instead of the critical being double or triple damage it kills them outright.

I could go with "Can you smell what the Bloodwatch is Cooking?!?" but it seems kinda weak.

To be honest, the Wrestling jokes would be easier if there were more spandex in the comic. It just isn't that kinda book though, you know?

Also, what works on a vampire varies based on your vampire mythos. D&D has regular damage only smokes a vampire, and they reform in their coffins at Dusk. In white wolf they take half damage from normal attacks, and they can heal it with blood, but it will eventually dust them. Vampires in Bram Stoker's memorable novel didn't really take damage from guns. He also didn't take damage from sunlight, it just negated all his powers. But he did age drastically if he didn't get fresh blood every couple of hours. Anne Rice's Vampires were more inconvienced than anything, it makes them loose fresh blood, which makes them less able to do things, both magical and mundane.

It looks to me like this guy is turning to mist as he get wounded. That would support the D&D model, but it's possible the Dave's have a unique vampiric vision. One in which the Undertaker is... [insert Wrestling joke here].

So Sawyer either just gained super powers or had them from the get-go. I'm inclined to believe that he's had them before, but that doesn't matter so much as what powers does he have?

My current theory relies on oppressed info so I can't share it. My back-up there is that Sawyer is a witch. Though the humor of that statement takes a hit considering that there are witches in the universe....

If I had to vote, I'd say Fides had something implanted in his brain when he was under the knife. Notice that only his injured eye is glowing (haven't gone back to see the damage the took yet), and the colors he's seeing reality is is the same color as the eye glow.

I'm thinking he never had them, or he wouldn't have freaked out at Pinky and Beanie. But I am wondering if he's picked up some vamp thing from Scarlip there, or if that bite from a Deep One Offspring could have something to do with it. Whatever the case, it's a miracle that he's managed to heal as fast as he has from those injuries.

On another note... Anyone seen some sort of symbol on him anywhere? Like another Elder God or Great Old One?

pfft. Could be Something from Revolver Devil's universe for all we know at this point *shrug*

EDIT: Exactly what is he seeing through Scarlip's back there? 'Cos I'm not sure those look exactly like I'd expect Human organs to look.

I'm inclined to believe he's had these powers before-hand, note how he states that the Destroyer isn't the only one too dangerous to let live and not what they seem. And just because he himself isn't quite human doesn't mean he's going to be familiar with Offspring or even know they exist. I have no idea or theory for the organs however.

As for the vision, I think it's some Spiritual:Minor:Super Senses in action. Note that Scarlip looks much more inhuman in that vision along with unidentified organs that likely need some good old fashioned stabby time.
