The thong is Wonder Woman pattern. I'd rather not get Time-Warner on us about it.

They mioght, but 500 packs at 5 dollars a pack is $2500 down, up front. I don't know many starving artists who're back in school that can drop that kind of money. And then at 10 a pack you have to sell 250 just to break even. THere aren't 250 people in the forums, and you've got to assume that the number of forumites closely echoes the number of non-convention sales you're going to make.

Still, thanks for link, as I've been wanting to look into custom card generation.

For those SG nuts who have to absolutely get their hands on a set of SG playing cards I'll suggest:

Actually at $7-$10 a piece I imagine the playing cards would go like hotcakes at a Con, Remember geeks are there to look & to buy STUFF. If each card face was different they couldn't have enough. And remember most readers monitor so many webcomics that that they don't bother joining forums. Infact I'm sure a lot more people would shop than join the forums and that almost all the forumers will shop. I read 27 webcomics & only belong to 2 forums but I'll scan the store on all of them that have one & I will buy stuff that catches my eye.

LIS as a suggestion of an entire side business that could be actually shelved in retail stores and major comic shops.
So it is obvious Innsmouth has a hidden Offspring only clothing store since we’ve seen the good old progenitor skull brand before. That’s the merchandise you guys should think about seriously, If you made a Real Progenitor/Offspring/Old one clothing line such as would be worn by your characters(not just simple print shirts, although we would love to see those as well) it would sell well beyond the site, could become a whole business, lot of lovecraftians and goth kids out there would snatch up these clothes before Hot topic could take em out of the box.
Yes it would take a lot more capitol but if you started out will some not so simple clothes of the Progenitor brand at cons And then sold the leftovers on the site it could turn into a large side business after a while. That shirt Misty's wearing without the Hydra on the sleave would go pretty good at con's or in stores if the shirt was descent quality.
People at con's love to spend money on stuff that is going to last the long haul and something clever. I know many cruise their favorite people first before starting to buy Tshirts looking for the best ones.
I am here therefore I am, now where did the Rum go?

Hmmm...I don't know if D-Rod's plans are that far reaching, but I think I will definitely keep it in mind for conventions in the future, if nothing else. Thanks for the suggestion. I had no idea you guys would take so strongly to a "Progenitor" brand... :D Learn something new everyday.

Did the store just go the way of the dodo? I went to order some issues, and I can't find the link. I'm not a huge Wiwoo, cause I enjoy having a hard copy.

The store was missing in action after the server switch. (In otherwords, we forgot to add it.) It is returning, but with the move and the stuff going on with us, we just haven't gotten around to updating everything that we'd like to.

We'll get to it.
