I know it seems strange to make Lindsey a pawn, but I can seriously imagine a row of her knelt down with a yellow can of spray paint. The one with 8 lives and the chance to become the most deadly on the board. Plus her and Merv would face off so well together.

I like where you're going with this, Charles. However, here's where I think differently:

SIDE 1
King - First Fused Shadowchild
Queen - Revived Shadowchild (as the queen is the most powerful piece on the board)
Bishops - Charon and Becka

SIDE 2
Queen - Mother Hydra (same reason as above)
King - I guess Chrissy, if not the Dagon Chief
Bishops - Bean and Hot Pink

Just me, though.

I think I avoided the Beans 'cos they would look a lot like Big purple anyway, and The Master seemed to fit in the picture fairly well.

Well, if panel four of part 3 is any indication, I'd say Misty survived. Nice mythic touch with the thread of fate there.

I'm trying to work out if there's a patern to the coloured eyes. We've got Blue for the devine, red for the daemonic and green for the... Hedgemages? Psychics?... DAMN! there must be a third player that I'm missing.

Wouldn't Robert (Big Purple) be more equal to a 'knight' Knight's in chess are seen as the 'smart' pieces, mostly cause they move 'around corners' (really it's just a Pythagorean approach, but whatever)

Anyone managed to figure out what movie Starky and Danny just came out of? Or the picture on the back wall behind Mordecai. Or even something special about the family depicted in the 6th panel?

I'll answer all the questions for you with no bullshit.

1. The movie they're seeing has the word minute in the title. I just typed the first random word that popped in my head. "Minute" so I typed it down. If "Rutabaga" had been the first word in my head, you would have seen like UTA on the billboard.

2. Picture on the back wall has no significance. It was a random Google search.

3. The family had no resemblance or importance to anything. They're just random people. They're just random people I drew.

Not the answers you were wanting I'm sure, but it's true. There's no significance to those images.

*meh* I question the significance of most things you put into these pages.

We never know when you might add in a nod to a friend, movie, game, artist or other personality.

The most simple things that we'd write off as random, often tend to have a little quirk in them.
