PLAGAL "Cadence" - SEQUENCE

Postby Charles on Mon Mar 23, 2009 3:07 am

This forum topic concernes the scene/sequence begining with Cadence Part One.

You know that part in movies where they suddenly hit the self-destruct button, destroy the sacred item, shoot two torpedoes down an exhaust pipe or kill the demon/sorcerer who magically created the castle/tower they're currently sitting in?

...This is that part of the movie/comic. Where the kill switch/stoke has been made, the entire place is falling appart, towards a big explosion and our heroes have to run like hell to escape the approaching cataclysm.

The unceremonial boot in Misty's back as Becka tries to rip those tendrils off her is just priceless.

It just shows that Becka continues to be made of awesome, saving the person that may or may not have been torturing her all these years.

Part of that, I think, is the possibility that Misty is an innocent pawn. The other part could be the thought of what Christmas would react if she came back empty handed.

I just gotta say again how AWSOME the Candence Part Two page is.

Seriously DRey, you've outdone yourself again (how many times is that now?).

Am I correct in presuming that Misty has her serpents withdrawn (I seem to recall she could withdraw them)?

Anything special with the constelations or just a bunch of stars?

I'm just wondering how they plan to cover THAT up.

Swamp gas.

All strange explosions can be blamed on accumulations of swamp gas.

Considering how badly the tapestry has been flexed around, I wonder if Alex Starkweather's been alerted to all the activity down at those docks. Not expecting him to turn up or nothing (although if I see a guy in the background with something green on his shoulder it wouldn't surprise me).

Well of course I'd buy one. Heck, I'd buy two. Are you trying to get a feel for numbers and feasability?

Any idea what we might be looking at for price in the store or any special features that would come with the figure (i.e. parts such as Dagon's Dagger, Zatura sword. Actions such as kick, karate chop, etc)?

Are we pretty much expecting something like this Image

Lindsey would probably have a yellow spray can, trench coat and glasses.

OH! and multiple pigtail sets to attach for any occasion.

I wonder if we'll see ShadowCharon and ShadowBecka figures one day. Heck, Merv would probably come out before them. I can't imagine what special items he might have, but I guess he could come appart and have chunks removed for battle damage (seem to recall some dinosaur figures for Jurasic Park which could do that).

F#$%, It's the Templar isn't it! They always notice that stuff. Although maybe Mr Immortal himself is gonna take a squiz. Thats just nasty. Actually, I guess the Templar have probably gone underground considering the numbers they've lost and the fact the Pope turned on 'em. I guess it's just Scar Face and Mr Immortal.

Except for the Anneline's mob, I can't think of anyone else in the Mythmakers universe who we know so far.

I would totally buy some Shadowgirls action figures!

And t-shirts too.

Get a Cafe Press store up so I can wear a Shadowgirls t-shirt to my next Con! ;)

Yay! I get my own action figure!!! :D

In all honesty, though, hell yes I'd buy an action figure. I'd buy the whole set. And with a mini-Insider on the way, I'd buy two sets so that he/she can grow up playing Shadowgirls, without ruining Mommy's set. :D
