Woah sorry. I got all these errors, and next thing I know, I've accidentally posted multiple times.

so, with the strip on hiatus until November, would it be possible to post the top 5 entries for us to vote on? That'd give us something to talk about during this long, cold waiting? (i live in michigan too, so i know all about the cold.)

Otherwise, maybe posting some of the entries that didn't make the top 5? I'd prefer to wait until after the voting to see those to avoid "man, how did this get in the top 5 when that rejected script we saw a few weeks ago had bekka with a mohawk didn't?!" i'd still rather see something rather than nothing. :)

Daves: I realize you guys are really busy, and I understand. But, I'm curious: do you have a timeline for when we will get to see the top 5 stories? If not, that's totally cool. I've been busy lately, too, so I understand. (Though, I haven't moved across the country, so maybe I don't understand.) :)

I would love to share the top five right now, but for reasons I cannot get into right now (but will later) I am unable to.

You may have noticed D.Rod's absence here... It's not just moving, he's got some shit going on in his life that wasn't mentioned in the strip. And as of tomorrow evening, the same will be for me. The movers are arriving here Monday Morning for my stuff, so my computer is going to be dismantled and I won't have internet access for a week. D.Rod's family is moving the very next week.

We don't have a timeline for anything right now, except for when roughly the comic will be back in November.

Realize you guys are still busy as hell and all (heck it's only your first week back) but just wondering what time frame we might be looking at with this competition.

I'm guessing it'll be sometime after Christmas before you have enough time on your hands again.

Sweet.

So has anyone else been finding countless flaws in their entry during this (totally understandable and unavoidable) eons long wait? :D I've been doing my best to keep myself from rereading what I submittede, but I still remember enough to go "oh what if I did this this way and that that way, and added this here" etc. XD

Ahhhhh waiting is fun. :) Nah, nah, it's all good.

I'm fairly confident with my co-written story with Inara.

The one with Jacobus, I'd probably pull back the first 4 pages into 2 or 3 and give the last 4 more room (i.e. awsome fight scene in the last 4 pages so I'd have less panels per page for more effect).

Query to the Daves: Will the top 5 still be voted on, or will you just take your pick?

That's pretty much how I felt about my novel, but the more I thought about some stuff that I wondered was too silly (like a scene involving a stray cat), I realized that it had it's place.

Just so you all know, one of the reasons it's going to take until we complete this issue... I'm drawing it.

So there you go. :P

DRod got sick of trying to find another artist who could match your talent for the series hu? *lol*

Damn! I'd have left a lot more stuff to "artist's interpretation" if I knew 'DRey' was the artist *shrug*
