Xy wrote:my last year at university I lived in a house across the street lived an older black man, his wife and a whole assortment of people coming and going, often at all hours of the day. To be honest, I have no idea how many people actually lived there but it was lively. He was a nice enough fellow, always said hello, that sort of thing. Around christmas I got my dog (long story) and though she did well with women, she didn't really like men. Don't think it was an abusive thing though. Well, this neighbor had over his sibling, a sibling who confused not only me but my dog cooper. This sibling had fully enlarged mamory glands that were much larger than my own, wore makeup and was wearing earrings. This person was not born female and cooper could not decide if she liked this Queen or not. This poor Queen was trying to get cooper to come over and say hi. To be honest, I couldn't tell easily. But I don't think women have an adam's apple.
Now, it's one thing to do the drag queen thing at night or whatnot but it was another thing to encounter him wearing beat up sweats, a raggy tshirt and bedroom slippers and no over the shoulder boulder holder either-yes, it was that obvious.
Cooper settled for retreating behind my legs and giving this person very suspicious looks. I apologized to him by saying, I'm sorry, she's not used to strangers yet.
and this was in the heart of Merced, an unknown city in the central valley of CA, a rural city at that.
