Just a note if anyone else gets the bright idea to watch Cthulhu (2007). Don't.

Just saying, I can take a bad movie but I couldn't fully watch this one. Might not have been so bad if I didn't have any idea who Lovecraft was, so your experience may vary.

Your main character isn't Russel Marsh (Instead of Robert Olmstead), a gay Seattle history professor from Rivermouth (Innsmouth was apparently too cliche to use or something). Your offspring are large crabby monsters not wall crawling big-eyed fetuses with weird hands. They did have a shoggoth though, you guys haven't shown one yet as far as I know. Even if said critter looked like a cheap CG ball of string flying through the air making whale noises. Oh and Tori Spelling hasn't raped any of your characters. Oh and the fish-monsters looked just like people, compared to your awesome scary critters.

I suppose a great deal of my ire stems from experiencing the Call of Cthulhu game which frankly beats every aspect of this movie in storytelling. This turd takes only a passing resemblance to the story. SG here is far closer then it, though Call of Cthulhu beats you guys

Agreed! I might not be married but even I know that too much time surfing forums can give you the crippling "Angry Wife" disease. You'll find yourself unable to sleep anywhere but the couch and have an unstoppable urge to do most of the house work.

Nah it's good to see you so pumped up Jac! Wish ya the best, though it WOULD be a good idea to avoid nerding out too much for awhile

Congrats on the house and the marriage guys.

Lets keep things positive... I has a new book to read and my brother cleaned my gun the other day (because he likes to do that sort of thing).

And although I feel a little shady for watching streaming bootlegged movies, I don't feel so shady to regret having watched HP6 or Public Enemies. Both are awesome movies that I will eventually pay for.

Man alive I'm drained!

Over the past couple of weeks, I've become an uncle again (this time my Sister-in-law), flown down to Sydney to celebrate my Granny's 80th Birthday and see all the other relatives down there, argued with the bank (who have stuffed up my application 3 times!) and had to start packing while keeping my house in a presentable condition for the landlady to show future tenants through.
