In a fit of what's best described as "egomania", my knitting group has decided to start a podcast.

Social Knitworking

The first show is set to drop at the end of August but until then we've done some short intro posts on the site. Yes, it's a podcast about knitting but it's also about all the other stuff we do - so it's more Knitting and. So yeah, if you head to the site you can hear me sounding very gravelly voiced after a show, and see me and my friends talk about my new tattoo and boobs. Oh right, we can be filthy mouthed. It's all fairly tame right now but just so you've been warned...

You're a knitter- that's kind of in the definition, I think. :P

That's how I think of it, however our group has scared away some people who drop by to knit with us. LOL

And I failed to mention, there's a Facebook fan page to.

Still waiting for my blasted internet to get connected correctly at home and there's only one computer here at work which still allows me to access the site from here.

*fuming*

And I'm going on two weeks holiday to Kiwi country this weekend... That home internet better be working when I get there...

Am I the only person who can have a nightmare influence their entire day?

I woke from a doozy this morning and it's left a shadow me. I'm sad and anxious and exhausted. ::sigh::

Tell me something happy! (though I must admin today's Ask Solomon column made me smile)

It's partially disabled here, too.

I don't appear to be getting notification emails! :(

Oh- and Spring, I've had that problem, too. The worst is when you dream about forgetting a class while you're in school, and spending the rest of the day going over your schedule to make sure you're not going to flunk something.

In my dream, I was an agent of some kind, trying to get something on (I guess) a mobster. Along the way, I obtain the huge-ass sword. Some guy (an agent of some kind) starts shooting at me, and the bullets ricochet, until one hits him. Taking him to a hallway, I see further down there are several people, and I ask for a healer (Santa Claus is there, I figure he's got to have some magic mojo. Not much later I return to the hallway and I see a rushed memorial for the guy (reused wreath, I think), and I'm weepin' like an old woman. And so were a few other people...I think one of them was Keenan Thompson. Then I had try and get to the roof of an Arby's to do something techy, and that's about all I remember.

Must check Dream Moods later to see if I can decipher any significance in there...

Yup. It appears that the SG forum has been upgraded to PHPBB3. I think the transition screwed up some of the permissions which explains why the BBCodes aren't working. Probably something in the permissions or something that failed to convert. :D

Oh, and may I suggest the Dark Shines style if the forum admin is reading this? :P
