In no particular order:

-The Terminal
-Amelie
-My Big Fat Greek Wedding
-WALL-E (I'm not sure if it should be The Incredibles here- one of the two Pixar movies belongs on the list. WALL-E was better cinematically, though)
-Spirited Away
"Why do I feel like there ought to be a "Mwuaaa-hahahahaha!" after that?"

Loved the Hudson Hawk. But it falls short on my Top 5. It is, however on my top 20 list. :D

As a side note, anybody else watched "Knowing"?

Yeah, its a close call between Nausicaa and The Matrix.

My favorite Anime of all time. I don't think any of Ghibli's other pieces come close to it, not even Spirited Away or Princess Mononoke. Granted the character is probably a Mary Sue but Its still a beautiful story.

If you're talking the Ghost In The Shell Movie then hell yeah its a movie like all the others listed here and I'd easily have it in my top 20. If you're talking the stand-alone complex series then maybe we need a seperate thread for Top 5 Series.

Well, there was a Stand Alone Complex movie, "Solid State Society" but in general the concept of Ghost in the SHell wins me over, so I use the blanket term here.

In no particular order my top 5 for anime would be:

Ghost in the Shell
Mononoke Hime
Nausicaa
Onegai Sensei
Ruruoni Kenshin

As for Manga my top 5 would be:

I"s
Salad Days
Ghost in the Shell
Slamdunk
Ranma 1/2

Though there are new manga out there, these are my all-time faves unless maybe Negima's finished or they continue Hunter X Hunter. :D

Top 5 movies...hm. Hard for me to pick a top anything of anything. I usually find a unique characteristic in a lot of things...well, that's a long story. So in no particular order, here's my movie list:

1. The Dark Knight (obvious, yes)
2. Beverly Hills Ninja (I always get goosebumps when Haru says "NO ONE MESSES WITH MY BROTHER!" right before kicking ass)
3. Spirited Away
4. Spaceballs (A classic sadly tainted by a crappy animated series)
5. The Incredibles

Same no order for my top five Anime:

1. Cowboy Bebop
2. Dragon Ball/Z (I'm lumping two series together...sue me)
3. Full Metal Alchemist
4. Rurouni Kenshin
5. Teknoman (I'm mostly putting this in for nostalgic purposes. Yes, the American dub has a lot of filler, cut a couple eps and REALLY bad puns, but it's the anime that got me liking anime)
Leave battle to the warriors or put a target on your rump.
